Research Summary
BPC-157 is a 15-amino acid synthetic peptide derived from a protective protein found in gastric juice. It has been the subject of over 100 preclinical studies examining its apparent role in tissue repair, angiogenesis, and gastrointestinal mucosal integrity.
Preclinical studies in rodent models have observed apparent effects on tendon-to-bone healing, muscle repair following crush injuries, and gastrointestinal mucosal integrity. Research has also examined BPC-157's interaction with the nitric oxide (NO) system and its apparent role in modulating neurotransmitter activity.
BPC-157 is not approved by the TGA for human use in Australia. PeptideIQ supplies research-grade BPC-157 for laboratory research use only, with third-party HPLC verification and full Certificate of Analysis.
