Research Summary
Ipamorelin is a selective growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHSR) agonist that stimulates growth hormone release from the pituitary gland. Unlike earlier GHRPs, Ipamorelin is highly selective and does not significantly stimulate cortisol or prolactin release in preclinical models.
Ipamorelin is frequently studied in combination with CJC-1295 for synergistic growth hormone release. It is not TGA-approved for human use in Australia and is available for laboratory research use only.
